I recently went to a boozy brunch with friends and I have to say the experience of drinking is very different after my RNY surgery. It wasn’t my first alcoholic beverage and I’ve spoken with my surgeon about consumption. Ideally alcohol should be completely eliminated however even my surgeon said its not realistic. Making Tough Decisions

Making tough decisions can be daunting. We can all agree (hopefully) that whatever lifestyle we lead now costs and affords us something. My body is morbidly obese and that’s why I was hiding from the world. I was also hiding from leading a fulfilling life that I crave.
